Sometimes we find ourselves having to choose a way, among many, being this a difficult choice by not really knowing whether it will be the good one.
I guess our life is defined by all our choices, with our successes and our errors. It is more the attitude, that shows who we are.
Anyway, if we could foresee our future, life would be too boring :-)

A veces nos vemos teniendo que elegir un camino, de entre muchos, siendo esto una decisión difícil al no saber si será la correcta.
Supongo que nuestra vida se define por todas nuestras decisiones, con nuestros aciertos y nuestros errores. Es más la actitud, la que muestra quiénes somos.
De todos modos, si pudiéramos conocer el futuro, la vida sería aburridísima :-)

Estación de vida, nacimiento, esperanza y alegría por el cambio de temperaturas. No es de sorprender que el Día de la Mujer se pusiera en estas fechas, ya que es esta sesión la que mejor describe el alma de las mujeres.

So what is hope? We all wish things to become better, for so many of us, being all sometimes so different. Maybe, can it be the wish that we can fill our imperfections, with our better things? Within our hope is that we find this Peace. This concrete Peace that can take us to our own freedom.
Not only hope is the last thing to lose, … it must never be lost.

¿Y qué es la esperanza? Todos deseamos que las cosas mejoren para tantos, siendo a veces tan diferentes. ¿Puede ser, quiza, el deseo de llenar nuestras imperfeccioens con nuestras mejores cosas? En la esperanza está el encontrar esta Paz. Esta Paz concreta que nos pueda llevar a nuestra libertad.
No sólo la esperanza es lo último que se pierde, … nunca se debe perder.

It is the last stop. It is the ending place for pilgrims. It is where all go to. Finally here is the last rest, after a long travel, day by day. Bicycles (or feet) stop leaving horizons behind. And, as these ones, leaning on the wall of the cathedral, pilgrims leave their peace and gratitude inside. As it is inside, where their souls have the last and well deserved rest of their travel. Of this travel for the soul.

Esta es la última parada. Es el lugar de finalización para los peregrinos. Es hacia donde todos van. Finalmente es aquí el último descanso, después de un largo viaje, día tras día. Las bicicletas (o pies) ya paran de dejar atrás horizontes. Y, como estas bicicletas, apoyadas en los muros de la catedral, los peregrinos dejan su paz y gratitud en el interior. Y es en el interior, donde sus almas tienen el último y merecido descanso de su viaje. De este viaje para el alma.

It is the receivement, the welcome, the acceptance, the unquestioned and unconditional will to help, and to be with guests. It is an impressive and unforgettable hospitality, what I received a time ago from a woman this country, Russia.
I cannot but wish that anyone who enters a Russian home, … receives such hospitality. It will remain in memory.
I dedicate this photograph and words to this old woman, who is right now in hospital.

Es el recibimiento, la bienvenida, la aceptación, las ganas de ayudar sin preguntas y sin condiciones, y el estar con invitados. Es la impresionante e inolvidable hospitalidad, lo que recibí hace un tiempo de una mujer de este país, Rusia.
No puedo sino desear que quien tenga la oportunidad de entrar en un hogar ruso, … reciba esta hospitalidad. Quedará en su memoria.
Dedico esta fotografía y estas palabras a esta anciana mujer, que ahora mismo está en el hospital.

Always, pilgrims have awakened all kinds of feelings in people. Curiosity? reminds? lack of trust, maybe? respect? admiration? It isn’t so easy to understand why someone would walk such large distances, day by day, along all the time they need.
… each pilgrim knows. Each one knows his/her reasons.

Siempre, los peregrinos han despertado toda clase de sentimientos en la gente. ¿Curiosidad? ¿recuerdos? ¿desconfianza, quizá? ¿respeto? ¿admiración? No es fácil entender por qué alguien caminaría estas grandes distancias, día tras día, durante el tiempo que sea necesario.
… cada peregrino lo sabe. Cada uno tiene sus motivos.

There’s always a “being lost” feeling when being new to a city. I think it is nice, as it allows to discover every corner and street. But it is even better when there is someone who can indicate you the right directions.
… just as in life itself.

Siempre hay una sensación de “estar perdido” cuando se llega a una ciudad nueva. Creo que es bonito, ya que permite descubrir cada calle y cada esquina. Pero es aún mejor cuando hay alguien que te puede indicar las direcciones correctas.
… como en la vida misma.
